The Bar at Cherry Street Pier

When the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation presented me with the opportunity to paint a mural on the shipping container-turned bar car at Cherry Street Pier, I was thrilled and honored to contribute my work to a place that holds personal significance. Having painted there for two Tiny Room For Elephants Mural Festivals in years past, it felt like a full-circle moment. After presenting several color palette options, the client ultimately chose one featuring a rich teal blue base, inspired by the river’s waters. I loved how the colors not only reflected the environment but also helped to anchor the mural in its surroundings. The final result truly felt like a perfect fit for the space.
